Athisayam Park, just 20 kilometers from Madurai city, which is on the way to Dindigul. Where you can find coaster roller, swimming pool, children games etc.,
This is one of the falls available near the City Madurai, which will be dry in summer season, this is located interior to the Dindigul Highway, have to go through palamedu village and just 2 kilometer from the Kutladampatti, a small village. you can use Bikes and cars to reach the spot, the government’s transportation is available up to kutladampatti village….
This is called ” Alagur Kovil ” means a temple of God Perumal alias Alagur, this is located at the bottom of the mount alagur, this temple has one famous celebration called “Chitirai tiruvila” which is held in the month of April which is a traditional function in the city madurai which is celebrated for the 10 days in a very grand manner. People in and around madurai will hang-out in the city to celebrate this function…
This is called “Pamban Bridge”, which is constructed across the sea which lies in between ramnad district and rameswaram , this is constructed by the British people while they are ruling the Indian country.. Its age is approximately 250 years, it is an railway bridge hence the indian government constructed one more bridge for the road transportation from where this photograph have been taken …..
This temple is at the city called rameswaram, which is a holy & historical place in tamil nadu, this city is some how 150 kilometers far from the city madurai, even though it is one of the nearer place to visit while visiting the city Madurai….
This is called “Vivekanda Memorial, at Kanyakumari”, Here a Holy man called Vivekanda who concentrate for meditation before his death… this is one of the important place to visit in this city, this city is about 300 kilometers from madurai . The speciality of this city is you can see 3 major oceans joining in this city namely, Bay of bengal, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea ….
This Statue belong to The Great Poet called “Valluvar”, his life time was not yet found exactly, but it is approxly said to 1500 years. his writtings are famous and even translated to all languages in the world because of logical reason given to lead a peaceful and logical life, it contains 1330 poems with 133 modules….. ( I would like to give a salute for him )

this is a Hall which contains thousand pillars in it.. this is located inside the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai.. this hall is also called as meditation hall..
This is a memorial hall for the freedom fighter “Great Mahatma Gandhi”, he is known all over the world for his new rule called, “Ahimsa” which teaches the non-violence.. he is also having influence for his rule in south africa ….
These are the two important places which is to be visited when you visit madurai. and few local cites are there which doesn’t have photo shots……..
