Tips for Better Life

1. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.

2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.

3. Sleep for 7 hours.

4. Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

5. Play more games.

6.  Read more books than you did in 2007.

7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.

8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.

9. Dream more while you are awake.

10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

11. Drink plenty of water.

12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

13. Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip.

14. Forget issues of the past.  Don’t remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past.
     That will ruin your present happiness.

15. Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot control.  Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

16. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the

lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

17. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.

18. Smile and laugh more.

19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.  Don’t hate others.

20. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

21. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

22. Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.

23. Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Don’t compare your partner with others.

24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

25. Forgive everyone for everything.

26. What other people think of you is none of your business.

27. GOD heals everything.

28. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

29. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will.
       Stay in touch.

30. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.

31. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

32. The best is yet to come.

33. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

34. Do the right thing!

35. Call your family often.

36. Your Inner most is always happy.  So, be happy.

37. Each day give something good to others.

38.  Don’t over do.  Keep your limits.

39. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.

You could save a life.

 

STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters… S.T.R .

My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word. I agree.  If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks.

 

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
During a
party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall – she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.  (they offered to call ambulance)

 

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food – while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital – (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.)

She had suffered a stroke at the party. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today.

 

Some don’t die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this…

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

 

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally.   He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE


Remember the “3” steps,
STR .     Read and Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify.    Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster.  

The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions :

S * Ask the individual to SMILE .

T * = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE    SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg “It is sunny out today”).

R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .


If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulance and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

 

NOTE : Another ‘sign’ of a stroke is

1.    Ask the person to ‘stick’ out their tongue.

2.    If the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.

 

A prominent cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.

Carrots are well known vegetable all over the world, which i very rich in its vitamin ‘A’. The Orange Carrots are found in Netherlands in the 17th century, previously the carrots are in various colours like purple, yellow, white & red. These carrots are know for their leaves & greens which where taken in by the ancient people who liven in 8-10 centuries

The Vitamin ‘A’ of Carrot gives the good health whereas it is also used to increase the sex happiness among the couple, Which increases the stamina of the pennis, extend the ejaculation of sperms from the testries of men. Hence it is also used as sex medicine, for longer sex relation with the partners respectively.

Too Much food ?? then try this…..

Here are a few tips:

• Drink a cup of herbal tea. This helps to settle your stomach considerably.

• Add sugar cubes in some peppermint oil and drink it after the heavy meal.

• Place something warm over your stomach. You can use a heating pad, hot water bottle or a hot compress. Often, stomachs feel better after 20 minutes of the meal.

• Lie down and rest for up to 30 minutes. Give your stomach-muscles time to move some of the food through your body.

• Breathe deeply to relax clenched muscles that may contribute to stomach discomfort.

• Take a brief, relaxing walk. Sometimes, light movement aids digestion.

• Treat stomach aches with over-thecounter antacids or antigas medications.

• Finally, remind yourself of this experience the next time you’re tempted to overeat.
